Strawberry Fields Design Donates Time and Talent to Help Bring Hope to Green Bay

GREEN BAY, WI – Green Bay Convoy of Hope is a one day, compassion event with the purpose of helping those in need in the Greater Green Bay area. Green Bay Convoy of Hope partners with Convoy of Hope International to achieve this by providing free bags of groceries, a free lunch, health services, and information about available community services—all of which are provided with the help and support of local businesses, churches and civic organizations. It’s a great day to simply enjoy life and receive hope. Strawberry Fields Design is honored to be one of the organizations to help bring this wonderful event to Green Bay.

Strawberry Fields Design designed and developed materials for Convoy’s capital campaign, as well as promotional materials including posters, flyers, billboards and web site.

Strawberry Fields Design owner Addie Sorbo, and her husband Tim, also volunteered at the Green Bay Convoy of Hope event, held August 16 at Leicht Park, downtown Green Bay. This year’s event served 2,300 people.

“It’s amazing to see how much need there is right here in Green Bay,” says Addie Sorbo. “You may hear or read a story about the need in our area, but for me, it didn’t become real until I experienced it first-hand at the Convoy of Hope event. I met people that, for one day, did not have to worry about where their next meal was going to come from. And mothers that were able to just relax and enjoy a fun day with their family. Everyone left with information on services available to them and the message of hope.”

The Green Bay Convoy of Hope event costs about $75,000 to produce, of which $25,000 has yet to be raised. Please consider how you or your business can help. For information or to make a donation, contact Convoy of Hope Green Bay at (920) 465-0455 or visit www.greenbayconvoyofhope.com.
